AI Writer
Turn a processed Video's transcript into blog posts, newsletters, SEO content, and social posts.
AI Writer generates written content from a Video you have already processed. It works from the transcript, so anything with clear speech (a podcast, webinar, or talking-head video) gives the best results.
Turn it on
AI Writer is off by default and runs per Brand. Open your Brand at https://openclip.app/brands and enable the Repurpose into text content toggle. With it on, every Video processed with that Brand first gets its Content Intelligence extracted and then automatically generates written content from it. With it off, neither runs and nothing is charged. Quick Captions Videos never run AI Writer. See Brand settings for the other Brand options.
What it generates

Newer Videos generate each type from the insights OpenClip extracts during processing, so the writing is grounded in the actual points made in the Video rather than a raw transcript summary.
Where to find it
Open the Video's Content Hub and switch to the Pre-generated tab. Long-form pieces and social posts are grouped separately. Use View on any piece to read the full text, or Copy to copy it.
Voice and tone
The Brand's personality preset controls how everything is written:

Credits
Written content is charged once per Video, no matter how many content types are generated:

A 10-minute Video costs 10 credits for the Content Intelligence, blog post, SEO content, newsletter, and social posts combined. The credits are only charged once the first piece is generated, so a failed generation costs nothing. Generation is skipped entirely if your team's balance cannot cover the charge.
